Creative Labs SC is the second branch of the CL community, following along Creative Labs UCLA, who are the original creators. Specifically within USC, we found gaps and limitations in the creative community: there weren't a lot of opportunities for student-creatives to explore and express their creativity, both physical and technical.
We hope our organization serves as an escape from harsh deadlines and restrictions that come with academia and extracurriculars to see what creativity lies in you. Whether you're a seasoned artist or burgeoning creative, we invite you to explore your unique creative voice and vision.
Creative Labs SC's mission is to cultivate information and passion in the form of modern art and technology within an expansive creator ecosystem.
Creative Labs SC is a community of student creatives working on cool projects. We are a community of passionate creatives using modern art and technology to produce meaningful work. We welcome students from all disciplines and backgrounds to work together on technical and creative projects.
At the start of each semester, members collaborate and bounce ideas off of each other, choosing or proposing projects to pursue throughout the term. These projects are pursued throughout the semester, culminating in a final exhibition where members showcase what they have created.
Beyond projects, CL hosts a plethora of events throughout the semester to foster a stronger community among members, ranging from creative workshops to retreats.
